Dodge By Owner offers the owner… the unique opportunity to advertise the property to prospective buyers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the Internet! Each listing has it's own individual web page containing four to six photos and detailed information on the property. During the six-month advertising period, we will update or add to the owner's information at any time. For example, if you decide to hold an open house or change the asking price, we will add that information to your listing. In addition, we advertise our website in the local newspapers on a regular basis, which directs more potential buyers to the listings on our site. Also included… is the use of a professionally made yard sign. The yard sign is one of the most powerful advertising tools available to the property owner. Our attractive sign is large, very visible and easy to read, unlike most of the small and hard to read “For Sale By Owner” signs in today's market. Included on the sign will be the owner’s telephone number along with the website address. The sign will be placed and removed by Dodge By Owner. The sign remains the property of Dodge By Owner. Your listing will appear on the website and the sign will be installed in your yard within three business days of receiving the information and payment, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. Please go to “Register Your Property” for information and instructions on how to have your property listed on our website. Terms and Conditions… Dodge By Owner does not assist/negotiate with the actual sale of the property. We do not act as real estate agents or brokers. We only provide the advertising services. Dodge By Owner does not guarantee the sale of any property listed. Dodge By Owner will place owner’s property on website and install the sign on owner’s property within three business days of payment received, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. Owner then must mark with a stake in the yard a “safe” location for the sign to be installed. Dodge By Owner is not responsible for any damage to any underground utilities that may result from the installation of the sign. Sign remains the property of Dodge By Owner. If the sign is damaged by the customer (i.e., tape, adhesive placed on signs, damaged by customer removal), Dodge By Owner will charge the customer $50.00 for the large panel, $20.00 for the smaller panel(s) and/or $50.00 sign frame and hardware. The service expires after the six-month period OR when owner closes on property OR when the owner chooses to discontinue the service during the six-month period. Owner must contact Dodge By Owner within 3 days when either of the last two situations occurs. At this point the sign must be made available for pickup. If it is not made available, a $120 fee (cost of the sign) will be assessed to the property owner. There will be no refunds for any unused portion of time. For example, if the property sells or is taken off the market within 2 months, there will not be a refund for the remaining four months of advertising services. By signing, e-mailing the Property Registration Form or sending payment to Dodge By Owner, the owner agrees to the above terms and conditions.
